Second Challenge Announced!

Salme Pattern: The Yoke Dress Who Made it Best? Like the pop culture weekly, Who Wore it Best, we want to know who made it best. One pattern, 9 designers! 9 Seamstresses will compete in this challenge. You will have one week to complete this challenge. Challenge : Using the pattern that we have selected for you, create a unique garment that reflects your personality. You can alter the pattern or add to the pattern to make it more you. Think of one of two words that describe you to inspire your look. This challenge will be judged on creativity, craftsmanship, how well represented your two words are in your design, difficulty, and fit. First Challenge Winner Announced!

Congratulations, Kathy! We loved your dress!  We could not believe that you made this from your wedding dress!  Your craftsmanship was great and we were happy to see you make something different than we have seen you make before. Congratulations! Kathy is the winner of a set of Pink Mundial Scissors.  We were so impressed with all of our designers and are so excited for the next challenge!  Unfortunately we have to send one designer "home" this week.  We are sorry to lose Tanya this week. Thank you all for participating!  We hope you are all enjoying our Fashion Challenge and are busy sewing at home! Stay tuned for the next challenge! 

First Challenge: Recycled Challenge

Wow! What a first challenge!  We are impressed with the way our designers took on this challenge. The theme for this week's challenge was using recycled materials to create a look. We let the door wide open on this challenge to see what our designers could really do! We told them they could use materials that would otherwise be thrown away, such as scraps from their sewing room. Or reinvent old pieces of clothing to create a new fashion forward look.  Take a look at what they created!  Make sure you vote for your favorite below!
