YouTuber's Dee & Dory are back on the Fabric Mart blog today with their most recent Fabricista Makes. Dee: My beautiful Fabricista Make was made from a polyester linen blend floral print. The fabric has a somewhat crisp drape and is slightly textured. This woven fabric has no stretch and falls moderately from the body. The fabric laundered well with a gentle wash cycle using cool water. Simplicity S9099 was my pattern of choice. The skirt is cut on the bias with four pieces being attached to an asymmetrical bodice. These lines add to the elegant drape of the dress. The sleeves are raglan with a front and a back to the sleeve and a middle slit opening with a narrow hem accented by two buttons being position along the middle sleeve seam just above the slit in the sleeve opening.
