I am so impressed by the number of people that have participated in the sew-along for New Look 6097. For our first sew-along together-- I'm so happy! Would you like to do another sew-along in the future? What would you like to sew?
It was fun, I wish I had been able to keep up with it as it went along better, but the next one I think I will. I enjoyed working with knits for the first time, and finding knit interfacing (which I didn't know existed). I have always sewn on silky dress fabrics. I guess for another sew along, I would still like to do a dress again, they are my favorites.

ReplyDeleteI would love to do another sew along! As far as what, I'm game for about anything that isn't too complicated. While I'm not a beginner learning to read a pattern, I'm not ready for a tailored jacket quite yet LOL! Getting to vote from a selection of a few patterns worked well. I'll need to think about what to suggest.

BTW, I received that fabric that Missy used in my last fabric bundle. I love the fabric as a dress, so pretty. I think I may go sleepwear but only because that fabric is so SO soft!
I would love to do a swimsuit sewalong, but that is because I want to sew one up for the pool this summer.
But maybe a swim coverup would be a good project or a great pair of shorts?
I too have a swimsuit on my list of possible sew-ups. I'm just not sure where to start. I bought a great swimsuit fabric on a trip to Miami in January. Now I have to put my mind to it! I'm thinking of constructing it based off of a swimsuit I have that I really like, but the fabric is wearing out. We'll see!
